Last year I set myself a goal of 120 books. I ended up reading 141. I also tried to complete The PopSugar 2015 Reading Challenge but failed pretty miserably at that.
My new goal is to try and read more of the books I already own, rather than constantly buying new books. Because I share my Amazon account with Mum, and we both buy books, there are a bunch of books that I own but haven't read. I set up a list (I know, right? Me, a list? Heaven forbid!). So that's an ongoing goal. I've currently read about 50% of the books I own.
But here is a list of books on my actual 'to be read' pile.
Highland Ever After by Maya Banks (not released yet)
There You Stand by Christina Lee
Driftwood by Harper Fox
Seven Years by Dannika Dark
Lady of Conquest by Teresa Medeiros
Coyote's Mate by Lora Leigh
Playing Patience by Tabatha Vargo
Forged In Steele by Maya Banks
Crave The Night by Lara Adrian
The Many Sins of Lord Cameron by Jennifer Ashley
Gabriel: Lord of Regrets by Grace Burrowes
Highland Vow by Hannah Howell
The Taming of Ryder Cavanaugh by Stephanie Laurens
The Chief by Monica McCarty
Beauty and The Highlander by Hildie McQueen
Archangel's Consort by Nalini Singh
Bonds of Justice by Nalini Singh
Anna by Marti Talbott
Findley's Lass by Suzan Tisdale
Hunted by Rebecca Zanetti
Last Kiss Goodnight by Gena Showalter
Some of them are in my 'to be read' pile because they're the next book in a series I'm reading, or the next book in a series that I need to continue reading in order to make some headway in my goal to read all the books in my library.
You know what really amazed me as I went through this process of creating a 'to be read' pile? Just how many of the books on my Amazon wishlist and Goodreads 'to be read' list, that I actually don't want to read. During the writing of this blog post, I reduced my Amazon wishlist from 136 books to 29.
